The State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture awarded the best architects of the year with the “Təməl” prize

On February 28, the date 19 years ago when the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture was established, the award ceremony for the most successful architectural projects of the past year was held.

At the ceremony, the Committee Chairman Anar Guliyev, delivering the opening speech, emphasized that the modern urban planning and architectural policy, founded by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, has been successfully continued thanks to the constant special attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the First Vice President, Mehriban Aliyeva. He also spoke about the importance of implementing significant structural and legislative reforms in this field in recent years.

At the event, Elbay Gasimzade, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Azerbaijani Architects, Ilgar Isbatov, Chairman of the Jury and Honored Architect, as well as Nariman Imamaliyev, member of the Jury and Honored Architect, also delivered speeches, noting the special significance of this initiative in terms of creating a modern urban environment and preserving and developing architectural traditions.
